The panoramic Campus of VNS College makes it different from any other College in Kerala because of its nativity with Forest Area and it is situated at the fag end of Malayalappuzha Village, near well known Chemmani Estate. It is very near to Konnappara Junction, on way to Konni-Thannithodu main road. Konni is a small town in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala famous for the Elephant cage and elephant training centre. This hilly town is bordered by Konni and Achenkovil reserve forests. Part of the journey to Kuttavanchi (bowl boat/coracle boat) in Adavi is through this forest. This is one of the tourist places to see in the Pathanamthitta district and is a part of the konni eco-tourism project.
